Dr Jodi Richardson - 'Empowering Anxious Kids And Teens In The Classroom And Beyond'
Anxiety among children and adolescents is at an all-time high. In addition to reducing day-to-day quality of life, anxiety impacts engagement, learning, connection and enjoyment in, and out of, the classroom. Staff, or ‘accidental counsellors’, are increasingly called upon to support anxious students and their families, often while managing their own elevated stress and anxiety. This is a challenging role made harder without a clear understanding of anxiety, how to settle an anxious nervous system and how, and when, to re-engage students in classroom activities. Learn all this and more in this engaging presentation peppered with practical ideas and strategies.
Dr. Mark Dowley - 'Improve Student Behaviour And School Climate'
Dr. Mark Dowley is the Director of Programs for the Foundation for Positive Masculinity, Associate Head – Staff Development at the Crowther Centre for Applied Educational Research and Adjunct Lecturer at LaTrobe University. For over 15 years, Mark has taught and presented in schools from Papua New Guinea to New York and has received multiple teaching awards. He is the co-author of The Classroom Management Handbook and consults internationally to schools on culture, belonging and behaviour. Mark completed his Doctor of Education and Masters in Education Policy (International) at the University of Melbourne. He also teaches mathematics to teenagers in Melbourne, Australia.
Maree Crabbe - 'Impact Of Pornography And What Schools Can Do'
Maree Crabbe is co-founder and Director of the Australian violence prevention initiative, It’s time we talked and an international leader in the development and delivery of resources and professional learning about pornography and its impacts on young people. She is Co-Producer and Co-Director of the documentary films Love and Sex in an Age of Pornography, broadcast in 37 countries, and The Porn Factor, broadcast in Australia. She is also author of In The Picture – a resource to support secondary schools to address the influence of explicit sexual imagery and Talking Respect – a resource to support conversations about healthy relationships and media influence with young people.

Matt leads The Missing Link's automation and AI consulting practice, withover 20 years of tech and management consulting expertise. He's a leader in enhancing efficiency through automation and AI, and an author of two pivotal books on generative AI. Matt has trained over two thousand individuals in using generative AI, guiding teams across many industries including healthcare, government and education on harnessing this tech effectively and safely. His hands-on approach and strategic insights make him a go-to expert in the AI field.
